To purchase SPL Attacker Native, select the "Authorize" button and you will be guided through the process." All in all, it sounds like their both a complete waste of time to explore and I for one have work to do. It's pretty much a useless plug-in unless you have NO other eq's to choose from, which I thrust all of us have. I just gave it (the "Ranger") a listen on a couple of different instruments and it when right into the trash. The really strange thing about this is that I also downloaded their "Free Ranger" eq plug-in and to do so required none of the hoops that this "Attacker" plug-in did. Put another way: You get what you pay for. And for all the plug does, it was hardly worth an hour of my time to try and install it. Kervorkian gave a better description of how to authorize. I did email my challenge code to the company and found an email this morning with simply a link to the download page. I know you're not supposed to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'd be loath to actually buy a plug from these guys if I have to jump through the same hoop every time. The idea of launching an app and then, while the app is running, having to go to their site, enter a code and wait for a response (while my app gently weeps) seems very convoluted. I hate this "tricky dick" advertisement crap where things AREN'T as they appear! For now I'm just going to "Skip for Now" the SPL Attacker Examination and see if anyone here has any ideas for me.Īren't you meant to hit the Authorize button at that time (with iLok unchecked)? Copy the challenge code. I was under the impression this was and unlimited usage offer with no time trial involved? Under that it says "This trial will expire in 14 days" followed by the buttons "Try", "Authorize" or "Quit". "You have been granted a license to use this fully functional product for evaluation. Upon opening up a DP project and as it was running through the AU's it did a Audio Unit Examination of "SPL Attacker" at which point an SPL pop up appeared saying Followed ALL directions throughout download and checked to see if it showed up in my Library/Plug-ins/Components and yes it was there. Sometimes I feel like a nut sometimes I don't. I was able to get the response code as I also tried to email it to them. It should pop up after 30 days I suppose.
